Senior Clinical Scientist / Advanced Healthcare Science Specialist (Audiology) - Focus on Vestibular Assessment

Band 7 - Open to newly qualified Clinical Scientists, Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Scientist / Advanced Audiologist with a keen interest in vestibular evaluations to become a part of our collaborative audiology team. This role presents a unique opportunity to engage in a service that caters to both adult and pediatric populations, allowing for the exploration of various audiological practices alongside a primary focus on vestibular diagnostics.

We are committed to supporting candidates pursuing STP equivalence through the Academy of Healthcare Science. This position is ideal for individuals aiming to enhance their leadership capabilities, encompassing a diverse range of responsibilities related to quality control, oversight, and service enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

As an audiologist specializing in vestibular assessments, your primary duties will include conducting vestibular evaluations and rehabilitation for adult patients.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to cultivate other clinical interests, including involvement in our emerging Bone Conduction Hearing Implant (BAHA) program.

This role may entail supervisory responsibilities and will provide avenues for leading innovative initiatives within the team. As a senior clinician, the successful applicant will receive support to advance their leadership skills through ongoing training and professional growth.

The individual in this position will possess specialized knowledge of a broad spectrum of procedures and practices, supported by practical experience and maintained through professional registration and continuous professional development activities.

To be considered for this role, candidates should have experience within the NHS and hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Audiology.

Registration with HCPC or RCCP is a prerequisite for this position.
