About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Paediatric Audiologist to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of complex clinical investigations, procedures, and processes to deliver patient care according to the agreed Integrated Management Plan (IMP).
  • Interpret and report test results to patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct paediatric assessments, including VRA testing, distraction testing, play or performance audiometry, and Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA).
  • Work collaboratively with a Specialist Healthcare Science Practitioner (Audiology) or Healthcare or Clinical Scientist to lead paediatric testing.
  • Develop and maintain skills and expertise in audiology, with opportunities for further advancement.
Requirements
  • BSc Audiology or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) or Royal College of Clinical Scientists (RCCP).
  • Membership of the British Society of Audiology (BSA) or British Association of Audiologists (BAA).
  • Experience in paediatric audiology or a desire to train in this area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a varied workload.
