About the Role:
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Credit Control Manager to join their finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for heading up the Credit Control function, ensuring the smooth operation of the department and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective credit control strategies to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow
- Manage a team of credit controllers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of queries
- Collaborate with senior finance management to develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform business decisions
Requirements:
- Proven experience in credit control, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
- Experience with SAP or similar financial systems is preferred, but not essential
