Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pay and Reward Manager to join our team at the Serious Fraud Office. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will provide specialist expertise and guidance on all matters relating to pay and reward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective reward strategies that align with Civil Service pay policy, legislation, and the strategic needs of the SFO.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the SFO and the public sector, including the Civil Service.
  • Prepare papers and recommendations for reward strategies, including support for the planning and implementation of annual pay settlements.
  • Use excellent communication skills to effectively manage challenging situations and stakeholders.
  • Lead on and drive forward key work portfolios within the wider pay and reward agenda.
Requirements
  • Excellent experience, understanding, and knowledge of how pay and reward strategies contribute to organisational effectiveness and engagement.
  • Ability to analyse complex SFO and wider civil service practices in relation to pay and manage project work to enhance the SFO's approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information to different audiences.
  • Leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
