The Royal Shakespeare Company is seeking a Catering Operations Supervisor to assist the Catering Managers in the seamless operation of our venues and to support the execution of hospitality services and events.
What we offer:

- Standard consecutive days off
- Limited evening dinner service unless for exclusive events
- Shortened working hours on Sundays
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Catering Managers to elevate the visitor experience through outstanding customer service and a delightful food and beverage selection.
- Assist in coaching, training, and developing team members to ensure top-notch service delivery.
- Conduct daily staff briefings to communicate operational updates, menu changes, and service modifications.
- Oversee the receipt of stock and supplies.
- Manage billing procedures, including cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation.
- Supervise all areas to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and relevant legislative requirements.
To excel in this position, you should:
- Have a strong understanding of exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrate effective leadership capabilities.
- Be skilled in motivating a team within a fast-paced environment.
- Take pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences.
This is a full-time, permanent role, with a commitment to working shifts totaling over 40 hours per week, across a 7-day schedule.
