We are seeking a skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at the Royal Shakespeare Company. As a Catering Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cafes, bars, and restaurants, providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality food and drink offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the Catering Managers to enhance the visitor experience through the delivery of exceptional customer service and a delicious food and drink offering.
  • Support the Catering Managers with coaching, training, and developing team members to deliver exceptional service.
  • Run daily staff briefings to cover operational news, daily menus, or service changes.
  • Receive deliveries of stock and consumables.
  • Manage all bill handling procedures, cashing up and closing down.
  • Supervise all areas to ensure they are safe, clean, and suitable for all visitors.
  • Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, associated legislative regulations and Head of Safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Understand and be able to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Have good leadership skills.
  • Be able to encourage and motivate a team in a high-volume environment.
  • Enjoy delivering first-class customer service.

This is a full-time permanent position, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, working shifts over 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, Monday through to Sunday.
