About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant/Team Leader to join our team at Radis Community Care. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to care workers, ensuring high-quality care is delivered to our residents.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Conduct regular supervisions and meetings with care workers, providing feedback and coaching to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage medication, personal care tasks, and other care-related duties, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, providing emergency cover and support to our residents and care team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader or in a similar role, with a strong background in care services.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, care workers, and other stakeholders.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to the changing needs of our residents and care team.
