Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Business Partner to join our HR Team at the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a people-centric support service, developing training programs, and working closely with our Director - Human Resources to drive talent development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate training programs, including speaker coordination and training material development
  • Collaborate with the HR Team to ensure a cohesive approach to talent development, including onboarding, digital learning, and career development programs
  • Manage and facilitate company inductions, ensuring new hires receive comprehensive onboarding training
  • Endorse the HOME values and promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork
  • Think end-to-end in terms of approach, considering all touchpoints and managing the full project lifecycle for talent development initiatives
  • Assist with developing a talent strategy, ensuring interventions are linked to the talent strategy and focused on business impact
  • Evaluate talent initiatives and training courses, using data to drive future decisions and actions
  • Build and manage relationships with local FE providers and universities to provide apprenticeships and degree programs
  • Facilitate associate engagement activities, including surveys, feedback, and action plans
  • Coordinate wellness and positive wellbeing activities
  • Develop and implement a company mentorship program
  • Responsible for Learning and Development and engagement communications
About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and confident Learning and Development professional with proven experience in creating and delivering training materials across various business areas. You should have a relevant Learning and Development qualification or Train the Trainer qualification, strong administration and IT skills, and excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
