About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our Logistics team at EVO Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transport function, adhering to legal requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the transport management team in the efficient management of transport operations.
  • Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Oversee driver management, ensuring adherence to drivers' hours and working time regulations.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Monitor and improve quality standards, exceeding customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Strong business knowledge within a logistics environment.
  • Experience in organizing vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Good understanding of transport and network planning, gained in a multi-drop environment.
  • Transport Operator Awareness qualification and other relevant transport qualifications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexible attitude to working hours, with a willingness to work additional hours when necessary.
  • Physical fitness, with the ability to walk, stand, lift, or stretch for extended periods.
  • Good communication skills, basic numeracy and literacy, and high levels of common sense, integrity, and honesty.
