We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at NTT Global Data Centers EMEA UK ltd. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and safety of our Data Center sites, clients, visitors, and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Manage access control procedures to ensure only authorized personnel are permitted into the building or other specific areas.
- Issue passes and collect relevant ID.
- Monitor CCTV systems to detect and prevent potential security threats.
- Assist in fire drills and alarms to ensure a swift and effective response in emergency situations.
- Ensure Health and Safety rules are always adhered to, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
- Perform reception duties, providing a welcoming and professional service to clients and visitors.
- Assist the Security Manager/Deputy Manager as required, providing support and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of the security team.
- Perform other duties reasonably required for the day-to-day operation of the company.
- Hold a valid Front-Line SIA Licence.
- Be able to work on a 12-hour rolling shift rota, 4 days and 4 nights including weekends and public holidays.
- Communicate effectively at all levels, possessing good relationship-building skills.
- Possess initiative with an inquisitive nature, good observation skills, and be unafraid to ask appropriate questions.
- Undergo full security checks to BS7858:2019.
