Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Supervisor to join our Logistics team at EVO Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation function, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the transportation of goods and materials to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained in line with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Manage driver schedules and ensure compliance with drivers' hours and working time regulations.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Monitor and improve transportation processes to ensure high-quality standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Strong business knowledge within a logistics environment.
  • Experience in organizing vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Good understanding of transport and network planning in a multi-drop environment.
  • Transport Operator Awareness qualification and other relevant transport qualifications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be physically fit.
  • Good communication skills and basic numeracy and literacy.
