Job Description

As a CFM Mechanical Engineer at NTT Global Data Centers EMEA UK ltd, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for planning, managing, and implementing Facilities Maintenance services to our Data Centers. Your primary goal will be to ensure operational performance is maintained to the highest possible standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of mechanical vendors and HVAC delivery to ensure statutory and contractual deliverables are achieved within SLA.
  • Authoring and oversight of mechanical MOP/SOP/EOP, regardless of source.
  • Ensuring relevant RAMS are provided by HVAC specialist vendors and are suitable and sufficient.
  • Acting as a mechanical competent person (CP) and participating in AP11 and medic first aid training.
  • Providing technical oversight and support on all mechanical works and projects, including commissioning and witnessing of existing infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
  • Assisting with in-house training to operational colleagues to increase awareness and competencies in respect of mechanical/HVAC systems.
Requirements
  • Industry or manufacturer training in HVAC, including cooling systems, evaporative cooling, pumps, and pressure systems.
  • HNC level attainment of a relevant mechanical qualification.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of water hygiene treatment regimes in line with L8/HSG274.
  • IOSH Working Safely certification.
  • Experience in mechanical/HVAC systems and general understanding of Data Center mechanical systems and building services.
  • Good numerical and literacy skills, high levels of computer literacy, excellent organisational skills, and ability to prioritise.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and keen to develop, with a willingness and desire to develop.
  • Full clean driving licence valid for use in the UK and willingness to undergo full security checks to BS7858:2019.
