Job Summary:

The Advocate Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and represent a premium mixer brand in the on-trade market. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for seeking out new prospects to partner with and expanding current business with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Target Key Accounts: Identify and target key multiple accounts in the given territory to increase sales and revenue.
  • Influence Key Bartenders: Educate and influence key bartenders to stock and promote the premium mixer brand.
  • Customer Service: Work closely with customers to ensure they receive a timely and efficient service when placing orders.
  • Relationship Development: Continue to maintain and develop relationships with current customers to increase sales and revenue.
  • Route to Market: Work with various Route to Market wholesalers to ensure strong representation and maximize sales.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the brand by attending events and tastings to increase brand awareness and sales.

About You:

  • On Trade Experience: Essential experience in the on-trade sector, either in sales or hospitality.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and people skills to build relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Industry Passion: A passion for the industry and a desire to work with a premium mixer brand.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, good time management, and planning skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Business Development: A strong track record of developing new business and client retention.
