Product Introduction Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Introduction Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a Product Introduction Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth introduction of our products to customers, providing technical expertise and support to ensure their availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out troubleshooting and investigation of product issues during the product introduction period, as well as pre-warranty and commissioning phases.
- Conduct fleet check activities to ensure products are functioning correctly.
- Report and register any deviations or failures in the Failure Management database, including configuration data.
- Support the operation helpdesk and apply and enforce Alstom and customer EHS and security rules and relevant product introduction processes on customer sites.
- Execute test and troubleshooting procedures to evaluate system performance and perform failure analysis on parts to be returned for repair.
- Support the implementation of field modifications and execute test procedures to evaluate system performance.
- Support specific technical investigations by engineering or internal/external suppliers.
- Recommend preventative and corrective actions to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Instruct and direct operators in field modification and repairs, if needed.
- Advise product introduction management on customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product enhancements.
- Ensure good information flow about interventions and operations within troubleshooting to support shift transition, if needed.
- Lead a troubleshooter team, if needed.
- Conduct peer reviews of product introduction activities and provide technical leadership, if requested.
- Contribute to the Return of Experience.
- Certified technician or undergraduate in a technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics).
- Technical troubleshooting/investigation/testing experience (mechanical or electrical/electronics).
- EHS knowledge and exposure.
- Product knowledge.
- Self-government.
- Minimum IT knowledge.
