About the Company

Role Responsibilities:

The Inventory Management Specialist will oversee the stock of materials within a pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practice (GxP) and general storage environment. Key responsibilities include ensuring operational efficiency, avoiding inventory shortages, and facilitating the procurement of spare parts for maintenance activities. The role also encompasses conducting inventory audits, managing waste disposal in compliance with regulations, and adhering to health and safety standards.

Daily Tasks Include:

  • Maintaining precise records of all inventory transactions in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Providing support to the service desk during staff absences.
  • Receiving and verifying incoming supplies, ensuring they meet quality and accuracy standards.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and proactively initiating purchase orders to maintain stock availability.
  • Retaining documentation in accordance with health and safety and GxP guidelines.
  • Issuing materials and supplies to production and maintenance teams as required.
  • Planning and executing regular inventory checks and audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inventory management.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for inventory control and asset management.
  • Proficient in software applications such as SAP, Ariba, Maximo, Airsweb, Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
