About the Role:
Faithdean Plc is seeking an experienced Assistant Document Controller to join our team at our Head Office in Lordswood, Chatham. As an Assistant Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Lead Document Controller and the project team in managing large amounts of information efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain good relationships with the Professional Team, Client, and Faithdean Subcontractor and Supply chain.
- Keep all relevant documentation relating to the contract saved into the Deltek PIM platform.
- Oversee document management for several projects, ensuring project-related documentation is uploaded, distributed, and tracked correctly using the Deltek PIM platform.
- Coordinate with the project team on specific documentation distribution requirements.
- Track missing or inaccurate project information and ensure updates are made.
- Facilitate efficient retrieval of project documents throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the collation of Operation and Maintenance Manuals as required.
- Attend meetings as needed to discuss project needs and outstanding information.
- Update, collate, and manage Progress Reports on live projects.
- Provide general support for projects as needed, including saving documents, printing, posting information, and producing presentations for meetings.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word & Excel.
- Flexible with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Prior knowledge of construction and the roles of the professional team, main contractor, and supply chain is advantageous but not essential.
