As a Senior Pensions Administrator at Broadstone, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pension administration services to clients. Your key responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of clients, providing administration services, and establishing strong client relationships. You will also be responsible for carrying out the checking and peer review of work undertaken by the team, supporting the processing of team workloads, and ensuring that all work is subject to appropriate peer review and sign-off. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining scheme membership records on the administration system(s) and ensuring that work requiring 3rd party involvement is suitably diarised and chased.

Key Behaviours & Competencies

As a Senior Pensions Administrator, you will be expected to demonstrate strong time management, organisational, and observational skills. You will also be expected to be able to multi-task and manage pressure situations effectively for self and subordinates. You will be required to act with integrity, providing a strong role model and guidance point for administrators and trainee administrators. Furthermore, you will be expected to forge strong working relationships and credibility with both internal and external contacts, and to advocate a high-quality service culture within the team framework and promote the achievement of performance standards.

Technical Knowledge and Professional Qualifications

You will be required to have a good understanding of pension administration and a strong technical knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations. You will also be expected to have a good understanding of the company's policies and procedures and to be able to comply with all relevant professional standards. Additionally, you will be required to have a good understanding of the FCA's requirements in relation to the Senior Managers & Certification Regime, Treating Customers Fairly and the new Consumer Duty.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of pension administration and a strong technical knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations. You will also be expected to have a good understanding of the company's policies and procedures and to be able to comply with all relevant professional standards. Additionally, you will be required to have a good understanding of the FCA's requirements in relation to the Senior Managers & Certification Regime, Treating Customers Fairly and the new Consumer Duty."
