About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Finance Broker to join our team in Chelmsford. As a key member of our THINK Finance Sales Team, you will play a critical role in driving sales and growth through new business and referral channels.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional sales service to new clients, from initial enquiry to sales closure.
- Nurture existing client relationships to secure referrals and build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial proposals and credit applications, working closely with clients to gather necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with our panel of lenders to secure the best terms available and negotiate on conditions.
- Work closely with our Operations and Completions Managers to expedite the flow of Work In Progress (WIP) through to Completion.
- Record all sales activity in our CRM system.
- Stay up-to-date with lenders' criteria and market trends.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in commercial finance brokerage or lending.
- Detailed knowledge of commercial lending products and lenders.
- Established network of contacts within the commercial finance industry.
- Proven ability to work with professional referral partners.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing a portfolio of established clients and seeking client referrals.
- Compiling detailed management reports for senior executives.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Demonstrable management experience, with the ability to cover any absence of the Department Head.
- Experience in project management and problem-solving (desirable).
- Strict adherence to regulatory compliance and internal control procedures.
- CeMap qualification beneficial.
