Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our site operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to our management team, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement HR Strategies
    • Design and implement HR policies and procedures to support business objectives.
    • Provide guidance on employment legislation and ensure compliance.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement
    • Develop and maintain positive employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution.
    • Support the development of a positive company culture.
  • Talent Management and Development
    • Lead the talent review process and develop retention plans.
    • Support the development of employees through coaching and training.
  • Performance Management and Organisational Development
    • Develop and implement performance management processes.
    • Support organisational change initiatives.
  • Union Relations and Compliance
    • Negotiate with trade unions on terms and conditions of employment.
    • Ensure compliance with employment legislation.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law legislation.
    • Proven experience in HR, preferably in an FMCG environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle conflicting issues.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
