Main Purpose:

To support the Deputy Operations Manager in delivering exceptional service across all areas of the department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and execute a successful operation of events, dining areas, and other sections within the Events and Banqueting department
  • Collaborate with key personnel to surpass client expectations
  • Oversee the execution of all events, working lunches, and dining experiences
  • Manage the Events and Banqueting Floor Managers and provide essential training
  • Comply with legislative and governmental guidelines
  • Monitor staff performance and conduct regular inspections of the events areas
  • Ensure adherence to health, hygiene, and safety standards
  • Lead by example and demonstrate commitment to personal development
  • Possess strong presentation skills and experience in managing and leading a team
  • Exhibit excellent customer care skills and financial insight
