Banquet Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Manager to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of banquets and events, ensuring that every detail is attended to and that our guests receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and execution of banquets and events, including coordinating with vendors and staff to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage the banquet team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all events are executed to the highest standard.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to secure new events.
- Ensure that all events are executed in accordance with Accor Hotels' brand standards and quality expectations.
- Monitor and control costs associated with banquet events, including food, beverage, and labor costs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and vendors to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement new ideas and initiatives to improve the banquet experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in banquet management or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in managing banquet events and teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and staff.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
