About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banqueting Bartender to join our team at Searcys, a leading catering and restaurant brand. As a Banqueting Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing a high level of satisfaction to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Stock Management: Ensure good levels of stock are displayed and kept on record, maintaining good stock rotation throughout the day.
  • Product Knowledge: Hold a very good level of product knowledge, as well as allergens and food safety policies within the hospitality industry.
  • Sales and Upselling: Be able to make constructive suggestions to client's requests in order to improve service and daily sales.
  • Opening and Closing Duties: Follow departmental procedures when carrying out opening/closing duties.
  • Cash Handling: Follow cash handling procedures and cash register policies.
  • Teamwork: Liaise with key people in all necessary areas of the business to ensure the provision of beverages is consistent and in line with menu/standards set by the Event Operations Manager.
  • Customer Complaints: Deal effectively and courteously with customer complaints, and to refer them to the line manager, if necessary.
  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, the COSHH regulations, etc. within the areas of responsibility.
  • Event Setup and Breakdown: Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banqueting area, with special focus on the bars.
  • Professional Appearance: Present in professional appearance and according to company standards.

  • Events Experience: Experience in events and banqueting environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
