ROLE OVERVIEW:


We are seeking a motivated individual who possesses a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and engineering solutions. This role involves providing dedicated support to the sales, technical, and project management teams within AVK UK Ltd.


Your responsibilities will encompass managing projects from the initial quotation phase through to final delivery, with a particular emphasis on coordinating and securing customer approvals for manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate sales inquiries that encompass specifications, technical drawings, schedules, and scopes of work.
  • Engage with customers to clarify technical requirements during both the inquiry and design phases.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that expectations regarding product solutions, quality, documentation, and customer service are met, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Prepare quotations and provide specialized product and technical support to colleagues.
  • Process sales orders, including the issuance of purchase orders.
  • Serve as the primary contact for new and existing clients seeking information about our product offerings, addressing technical inquiries.
  • Maintain and enhance current client relationships through outstanding customer service.
  • Actively contribute to the utilization and application of CRM systems for projects across the UK.
  • Participate in the development and utilization of the AVK UK Group training and development academy.
  • Possess a technical and commercial understanding of our product range and our partners.
  • Understand AVK/AVK UK Ltd services and the competitive landscape.
  • Respond to customer technical inquiries effectively.
  • Foster close collaboration with AVK UK Ltd's Engineering Site Solutions Team to ensure mutual support.
  • Address customer complaints regarding the product range.
  • Review product drawings for suitability prior to client submission.
  • Manage customer evaluations of our product drawings and technical submissions, considering commercial and contractual aspects.
  • Submit documentation to clients in accordance with their protocols.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:


The ideal candidate will possess qualifications through experience in an engineering background or a degree in a relevant engineering/manufacturing/mechanical discipline.


You should be adept at grasping new technical concepts and providing solutions to engineering challenges.


Comfort in a customer-facing, commercial, and project management environment is essential, along with the ability to engage professionally with key customers.


Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving are crucial, as is a keen attention to detail.


Flexibility to adapt workload priorities in response to new deadlines is important, as is the willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and abroad.


A mindset focused on continuous improvement, along with independent working capabilities and excellent planning and organizational skills, will be advantageous.
