We are currently seeking a Community CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dedicated team.
Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to provide care for children and adolescents with mental health needs.
- Offer senior medical support and guidance to the team.
- Engage directly with children, adolescents, and their families, coordinating with external CAMHS providers and acute hospitals as necessary.
- Participate in the on-call rota, currently set at 1:13, with a 3% on-call supplement based on the basic salary.
- Support peers and team leaders while also demonstrating initiative.
- Work alongside other CAMHS professionals within the service.
- Commit to collaborative efforts, actively engaging with other health and social professionals and agencies.
Essential Qualifications:
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- CCT or equivalent qualification.
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it.
- Approved Clinician status or eligibility for it.
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
