Job Overview

An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a skilled and driven Administrator to join the Maternity team at Barts Health NHS Trust as the Maternity Admin Team Coordinator (Leader) on a Fixed term contract.

This role is situated within the Women's and Children's Division, providing essential support at Newham University Hospital. This dynamic environment is dedicated to prioritizing patient care and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and organizational abilities, coupled with a proactive attitude. Previous administrative experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include supporting the Maternity Inpatient administrators, managing rotas, addressing daily operational challenges, attending meetings, and covering gaps in both inpatient and outpatient services. Additionally, the role involves compiling information for weekly PTL meetings and collaborating closely with the outpatient Team Leader to ensure seamless service delivery.

Candidates should ideally have experience within the NHS and familiarity with Trust systems, such as Cerner Millennium (CRS).

Main Duties of the Role

The post holder will be responsible for delivering Administrative and Clerical support across all areas of the maternity department, providing leadership and management guidance to junior administrative staff.
