Position Overview
An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a skilled and motivated Administrator to join the Maternity team at Barts Health NHS Trust as the Maternity Admin Team Coordinator (Leader) on a Fixed term contract.
This role is situated within the Women's and Children's Division and involves working in a vibrant and fast-paced environment where patient care is our top priority.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and organizational abilities, along with a proactive attitude, ideally complemented by prior administrative experience.
Responsibilities include supporting the Maternity Inpatient administrators, managing rosters, addressing daily operational challenges, attending meetings, and providing coverage in both inpatient and outpatient areas as needed. Additionally, the role involves gathering information for weekly PTL meetings and collaborating closely with the outpatient Team Leader to ensure seamless operations.
Candidates should ideally have previous experience within the NHS in a comparable role and be familiar with Trust systems, such as Cerner Millennium (CRS).
Key Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for delivering Administrative and Clerical support across all areas of the maternity department, while also providing leadership and management assistance to junior administrative staff.
