Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Retention Specialist to join our team at Global Banking School. As a key member of our student retention team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to improve student engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance student retention and progression.

  • Collaborate with academic departments, external stakeholders, and internal support services to drive student success.

  • Lead and manage a team of Senior Retention Officers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of services.

  • Oversee partnerships with faculty and internal stakeholders, developing innovative strategies to improve performance.

  • Work with the Planning, Information and Delivery team to prepare data for senior management and academic deans.

  • Take responsibility for staff management, development, and performance review within the section.

  • Provide an annual review of student retention services, highlighting impact on student progression and completion.

  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, with knowledge of PBI a plus.

Requirements
  • Experience of building and leading high-performing teams.

  • Strong understanding of GBS values and regulations, including equal opportunities policy.

  • Commitment to GBS's Social, Economic and Environmental responsibilities and minimizing environmental impact.
