Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced psychological therapist to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for providing assessment and psychological therapy to clients with complex mental health needs, including those with a history of trauma.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and appropriate professional registration. They will also have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification NHS experience of working as a psychological therapist with adult clients with complex psychological problems.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing assessment and psychological therapy to clients with complex mental health needs
  • Developing collaborative working practices with other local teams
  • Providing supervision and consultation to relevant adult mental health services
  • Participating in the development of the service's policies and procedures

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • A postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Appropriate professional registration
  • A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification NHS experience of working as a psychological therapist with adult clients with complex psychological problems
