Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment and psychological therapy to clients with complex mental health needs.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and appropriate professional registration. They will also have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification NHS experience of working as a psychological therapist with adult clients with complex psychological problems.

The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with GPs, other clinicians, and external stakeholders, and have the ability to supervise, mentor, and support staff. They will also have experience of providing teaching and training, and be able to exercise clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care within the context of a multi-disciplinary working.

Main Duties of the Job

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and appropriate professional registration. Desirable criteria include additional psychotherapy qualifications, relevant supervision qualifications, and experience of providing teaching and training.
