Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological therapy services to adults with complex mental health needs, including those with a history of trauma.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and appropriate professional registration. They will also have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification NHS experience of working as a psychological therapist with adult clients with complex psychological problems.

The role will involve working collaboratively with GPs, other clinicians, and external stakeholders to provide assessment and psychological therapy to clients. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and supporting staff.

Person Specification

The person specification for this role includes:

  • Postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Appropriate professional registration
