About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Partner to join our team at Michael Page Procurement & Supply Chain. As a key member of our Procurement & Supply Chain department, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic procurement plans and delivering cost savings through efficient procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Strategic Procurement Plans: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with corporate objectives and drive business growth.
  • Manage Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal performance and cost savings.
  • Deliver Cost Savings: Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs and improve procurement efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company policies and regulations.
  • Lead Procurement Projects: Lead and manage procurement projects and initiatives within the department.
  • Report on Procurement Activities: Provide regular reports on procurement activities and performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in strategic procurement and contract management.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, proficiency in procurement software and tools, excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the insurance industry and its procurement needs.
