We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Partner to join our team at Michael Page Procurement & Supply Chain. As a key member of our Procurement & Supply Chain department, you will play a critical role in driving strategic procurement plans that align with our corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Strategic Procurement Plans: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs, and develop and implement strategic procurement plans that drive cost savings and value.
- Manage Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance metrics.
- Deliver Cost Savings and Value: Develop and implement procurement strategies that deliver cost savings and value to the organization.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all procurement activities are in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Lead Procurement Projects: Lead procurement projects and initiatives within the department, and report on procurement activities and performance.
- Education: A degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in strategic procurement and contract management.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, proficiency in procurement software and tools, excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the insurance industry and its procurement needs.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary range between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
