City of London Greater London, United Kingdom Eden Brown Synergy Full time £41,550 - £46,332

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Consultant to join our esteemed Public and Private Law team.

We prioritize a culture of trust and empowerment, allowing our team members to operate in a hybrid work environment. We provide the necessary resources, tools, and support to ensure that we collectively advocate for the best interests of children and young people during critical family court proceedings.

Our recent recognition from Ofsted as 'outstanding' has motivated us to continuously enhance our services for children and families.

As a member of our central London-based team, you will have the flexibility to work remotely, with the office location being a secondary consideration.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver advanced social work services to children, families, and the judiciary by evaluating and interpreting court applications concerning child protection and significant welfare concerns.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in guiding those with parental responsibilities to adopt a child-centered approach and provide informed recommendations to the courts on improving a child's circumstances, thereby supporting effective judicial case management.

To excel in this role, you must maintain a child-focused perspective through high-quality direct engagement with children and their families.

Strong negotiation skills are essential, as you will need to advocate persuasively for children while collaborating with family members and professionals.

It is vital to keep the child's timeline in mind throughout their developmental journey, including their experience within the care system, and to advocate for their best interests, ensuring their voice is heard in legal settings.

We are looking for a resilient, reflective, and accountable practitioner with proficient IT and organizational skills to manage a substantial caseload effectively.

Qualified candidates must possess a degree in social work and be registered with the relevant professional body.

The compensation for this role ranges from £41,550 to £46,332, with an additional London weighting of £4,885 (pro-rata), resulting in an effective salary range of £46,435 to £51,217.

We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that reflects the varied backgrounds of the children and families we serve.

We particularly encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds to enhance our workforce's representation.

Our organization offers extensive wellbeing support and a comprehensive benefits package to promote a healthy work-life balance.

We invite you to explore this opportunity with us.
