Ackerman Pierce Ltd. is seeking a Child Welfare Service Supervisor for the Looked After Children's Division. This role is designed to enhance the support provided to children and families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide team members to ensure high-quality service provision to children, adolescents, and their families.
- Supervise staff in maintaining comprehensive records on relevant platforms and databases.
- Facilitate the recruitment, training, evaluation, and ongoing assistance for prospective Carers.
- Support the Head of Service in strategizing and developing services for at-risk children and young people, recognizing needs and addressing potential obstacles.
- Effectively manage financial resources and ensure services are delivered in a cost-efficient manner. Prepare reports and engage in meetings/forums as necessary.
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Service Supervisor within the UK Social Services sector.

Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in a comparable position within the UK.
