We are seeking a dedicated Family Court Adviser (Social Worker) to join our esteemed organization, Cafcass, where we prioritize the welfare of children and families. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the voices of children are heard during critical family court proceedings.
Role Responsibilities
As a Family Court Adviser, you will be engaged in two primary teams:
- Work After First Hearing Team: Utilize your social work expertise to assess the needs, desires, and emotions of children. You will provide insightful recommendations to the Family Courts through well-structured written case analyses and represent the child’s interests during court appearances.
- Private Law Team: Collaborate with families navigating court processes to establish optimal arrangements for children. This involves direct interaction with children to gather their perspectives and presenting these insights to the court through comprehensive reports and advocacy.
