Fire Safety Maintenance Engineer (Background in Fire & Security)

Compensation:
£28,840.00 annually

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
This position is being advertised on behalf of our client, a leading facilities management organization.

Established in 1985, our client has evolved into one of the largest privately owned integrated facilities management firms globally.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves conducting scheduled maintenance for fire and security systems, collaborating with the Fire and Security team while adhering to company policies and procedures.


  • No on-call duties
  • All necessary testing tools and specialized equipment will be provided.
  • Company-provided uniform
  • Comprehensive training, including health and safety protocols.
  • Engineers will be managed by a PPM Coordinator
Key Responsibilities

  • Upholding the company's reputation through professional conduct and fostering strong relationships with both colleagues and clients.
  • Executing fire alarm maintenance tasks on-site in accordance with the established Service Level Agreement and within specified timelines.
  • Maintaining constant communication with the Service Team to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
  • Adhering to relevant health and safety regulations, including CBES HSE management systems, and ensuring that all team members and subcontractors follow safe working practices on-site.
  • Ensuring that the company vehicle is kept in a clean, well-maintained condition and serviced as necessary. Complying with any other reasonable management directives.
Qualifications and Experience (Comprehensive training will be provided to suitable candidates)

  • Must possess security training across multiple disciplines, including Fire, Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel daily.
