About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Assistant to join our team at Topps Tiles. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our tile and associated product ranges, and contributing to the profitability and reputation of your branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use your product knowledge and expertise to sell and advise customers on our tile and associated product ranges.
  • Represent the Topps Tiles brand and contribute to the profitability and reputation of your branch by working as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
  • Deal with customers face-to-face, ensuring a welcoming and confident approach.
  • Ensure showrooms are clean and tidy, and maintain branch standards.
  • Complete customer orders and handle cash transactions accurately and in accordance with branch procedures.
  • Maintain an awareness of interior design trends and the role that tiles have in renovation schemes.
  • Offer specific advice to customers on products and their use.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a retail environment.
  • Interest in interior design trends.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
