Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Store Manager - Customer Experience Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at the British Heart Foundation. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to our customers, ensuring they have an exceptional shopping experience in our stores.
  • Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, including managing stock, visual merchandising, and maintaining a high standard of store appearance.
  • Sales Growth: Contribute to the success of the store by achieving sales targets, maximizing sales through physical and digital channels, and identifying opportunities to increase sales.
  • Team Management: Support the Store Manager in the recruitment, development, and management of store staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with the management of stock levels, including receiving and processing deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong background in retail or a related industry.
  • Supervisory Experience: Experience in a supervisory or management role, with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving sales targets.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness and ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities to drive sales growth.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
