Opportunity Overview
Our Nuclear Power Programmes are engaged in delivering critical projects for prominent clients across the UK and Europe. Our integrated teams are providing essential support for major initiatives, including the development of new nuclear facilities and advanced technologies in Small Modular Reactor (SMR) capabilities.
In this role, you will collaborate with both clients and internal teams, contributing to the comprehensive management of significant programmes throughout their lifecycle. Our focus is on delivering safe, high-quality solutions on schedule through innovative thinking and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain monthly reports for the Nuclear Initiative Programme, ensuring integration with overall reporting.
- Manage a tracker of outstanding issues, regularly updating clients on progress.
- Identify and oversee interfaces between the Nuclear Initiative Programme and other project sequences.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with the latest project schedule and Levels of Detail (LOD).
- Organize progress meetings and manage interfaces with stakeholders.
- Support the project manager by managing contractual documentation.
- Review requests from stakeholders with assistance from business services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Experience in project control, including cost management, governance, reporting, and risk assessment.
- Skills in planning and scheduling, along with document control and delivery.
- Technical knowledge in civil engineering.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple interfaces and synthesize information effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player, open to working in a multicultural environment with diverse stakeholders.
