Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Connex Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in primary schools across Southport.

About the Role:
  • Support children with special educational needs in primary schools
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide one-to-one support to children with additional needs
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's special educational needs policy
Requirements:
  • Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification or relevant experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
  • A DBS on the update service or willing to obtain a new one through Connex
