We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with SEN children on a 1:1 basis at a supportive and welcoming Primary School in the Southport area.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and patient individual to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Support children with ASD in a 1:1 setting
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience working with children with SEN
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient and empathetic approach
