SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEN school in Liverpool. The successful candidate will support students aged 2-19 years with Autism Spectrum Condition (A.S.C) and special education needs (S.E.N).
Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering a high-quality education for all students
- Provide individual or group support to students to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possible
- Organise the classroom, its resources, student groupings and displays to provide a stimulating learning situation
- Work with and manage sensory needs, enabling learners to adopt self-regulatory strategies
- Assist learners in developing or refining their independence skills
