Position Overview
A remarkable opportunity has arisen for a Band Rotational Occupational Therapist with a background or strong interest in the various domains of the rotation.
You will join a well-established rotation, collaborating within a supportive and welcoming team dedicated to delivering exceptional occupational therapy services.
Inpatient Services - Pediatric Orthopaedics
Delivering Occupational Therapy services to young patients across all orthopaedic inpatient units.
Enhanced Recovery Programs Rehabilitation for intricate cases The Bone Infection Unit.Pre-operative Services - Outpatient Clinic
Clinic and Telemedicine evaluationsRheumatology Services - Outpatient Clinics
Conducting outpatient consultations to assess and provide interventions for rheumatologic disorders.
Sarcoma Services - Inpatients, Outpatients, and Research
Engaging with the Oxford Sarcoma Service to support patients both pre and post-surgery, with opportunities for research involvement.
Prosthetic Services - (Children and Adults)
Providing services to both children and adults, including outpatient consultations, home visits, school visits, and workplace visits.
Trauma Services
Collaborating as part of the trauma and plastics therapy service within a broader Major Trauma Centre.
Candidates must demonstrate outstanding teamwork and communication abilities, adaptability to client needs, and strong clinical reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
You will utilize a diverse array of Occupational Therapy competencies.
Assessing and treating patients within each rotation. Assisting the OT Service Manager and Team Leaders in service enhancement and the delivery of a quality service. Taking responsibility for junior staff members and delegating tasks as necessary, ensuring appropriate support is provided at all times.Opportunities for professional development within each rotation will be available. Training and educational resources will be provided to support your growth, with guidance from senior Occupational Therapists.
