Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Service Children's Champion. This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with Service children and families across several schools in the Brecon Cluster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to Service children, including raising awareness of their needs, building relationships, and undertaking collaborative activities and learning.
  • Work closely with staff, parents, and Armed Forces agencies to ensure a collaborative partnership to support the needs of Service children.
  • Support Service children with their transition in and out of schools, including additional learning needs support and targeted support.
  • Liaise with local and national Armed Forces agencies to ensure a comprehensive understanding of Service children's needs.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • Ability to work with diverse groups and build strong relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
