This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of the team, enabling them to effectively deliver their services.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Liaison and Diversion Team, handling inquiries, correspondence, compliments, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Contribute to a well-organized administrative framework for team meetings, including room bookings, agenda distribution, and accurate minute-taking.
  • Provide a welcoming and informative reception service to the public, service users, Council staff, and representatives from other agencies, adhering to Wakefield Council's Customer Care policies and procedures.
  • Maintain meticulous records of attendance at training courses and other learning and development events, ensuring that mandatory training is consistently refreshed.
  • Input data accurately into central MI systems, contributing to effective internal reporting and analysis.
Essential Requirements:
  • A recognized qualification in Maths and English, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge and skills gained through relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Solid understanding of various administrative systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Experience working in a busy administrative environment, interacting with the public effectively through face-to-face, telephone, and email communication.
