About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a Specialist Occupational Therapist role. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to individuals with mental health conditions in a secure setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat occupational dysfunction in individuals with mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Provide clinical and managerial supervision to junior staff members
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services and policies

Requirements
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working in a secure mental health setting
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
