Job Title: Assistant Housing Officer

Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Housing team as an Assistant Housing Officer. This role will be based in Toryglen, Glasgow, and will involve working closely with our Compliance Team to arrange EICR access and scheduling.

About the Role:

  • Assist in drafting tenancy agreement documentation and completing paperwork associated with home visits
  • Liaise with tenants, responding to enquiries and complaints
  • Work with customers to resolve issues and improve services
  • Prepare correspondence in relation to void properties
  • Communicate with external agencies regarding tenancies
  • Raise purchase orders and ensure completion of cash sheets
  • Support Housing Officers and Manager with day-to-day tasks

Requirements:

  • Recent experience in a customer service environment or administrative position
  • Previous experience in a Housing environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with fast-changing requirements
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritizing workloads
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel (or similar)
  • Occasional travel may be required, therefore a full valid driving license is desirable
