About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at Young's Pubs. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and preparation, ensuring that dishes are consistently of the highest standard.
  • Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that they are within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring that the highest quality ingredients are sourced.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new menu ideas and concepts.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are maintained in a clean and safe condition.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
