Job Title: Head Chef

Job Summary:

Cinnamon Care is seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Lakeview Grange. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of chefs and kitchen assistants to deliver exceptional food service to our residents.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Activities Coordinator to plan and execute events that meet the nutritional and social needs of our residents.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 in Catering or equivalent QCF qualification.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reasonable access outside working hours in emergency situations.
