About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Officer to play a key role in shaping the compliance landscape across a broad remit within our Financial Services team at InterQuest Group.

As a Compliance Officer, you will be a vital part of a small but dedicated compliance team, directly contributing to ensuring our business adheres to all relevant regulations. You'll have the opportunity to lead compliance initiatives, provide guidance across various departments, and mentor junior members of the team.

This is a hands-on role that will require you to roll up your sleeves and get involved in everything from reviewing financial promotions to overseeing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct compliance reviews and assess the impact of regulatory changes across the Group.
  • Monitor the regulatory environment and help shape the compliance strategy.
  • Provide training to various departments to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Provide mentorship to the team, offering guidance and support
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: A solid background in compliance within the Financial Services sector. Experience across the full spectrum of compliance, from financial promotions to AML, is essential.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor within a compliance function.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with an ability to articulate complex regulations clearly and concisely.
  • Flexibility: The ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Qualifications: Relevant compliance qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
